About Ermes Culos

Ermes Culos lives in Ashcroft, British Columbia, together with his wife, Ida, their dogs Lollipop and Loko, their four cats Sismica, Puccini, Mozart e Mahler, their homing pigeon PJ, their several doves of promiscuous parentage, and their twenty-four chickens and one rooster. Cheered on, miawed, arrfed, cooed and cockadoodled by this assorted company, Ermes gives his time, more or less equally, to caring for his unruly garden and small walnut grove, and to his translation work. In a quixotesque effort to keep alive a language that is beginning to show discernible signs of a dodoesque malaise, Ermes has, to date, translated into the Friulian language Dante's Divine Comedy, selected parts of Cervantes' Don Quijote de la Mancha. Ermes has also completed several other works, and is currently working on Chaucer, Boccaccio and Ariosto.
